Brian Wesley Nesbitt
Brian Wesley Nesbitt Nov 5, 1968 - Oct 12, 2016 We unexpectedly lost Brian October 12, 2016. Brian was known for his wit, being a friend to everyone he met, he was not "the life of the party", he was THE party. He was adored and loved by hundreds. Many of his friends have written about Brian: "...a great man who saved me...", "I don't call everybody my friend or my big brother, but Brian was definitely both...I'm torn up...", "...Brian Nesbitt, the legend, what an honor to work by your were everyone's big brother...", " n't imagine the world without your energy and friendly demeanor...", "We lost a Great Man, Brother, Friend...He was funny, loyal, hardworking, dedicated and dependable, an awesome Dad and Husband...", " mentor, my friend, my manager whose work ethic was 2nd to were my big brother I have looked up to for years...". A seven paragraph poem, composed and dedicated to Brian, began: "He was a special type of man, That always had your back, A perfect heart he had for all....". That was our Brian. Brian leaves his three amazing and accomplished boys, who Brian loved and worshiped, Hunter Nesbitt, 17, Hayden Nesbitt, 13 and Hesten Nesbitt, 11; step-daughters, Isabel Tipton, 14, and Casey Tipton, 21; wife, Nikki Nesbitt, who was to Brian, as Brian wrote to her a few days before his death: "You are my heart and soul, my refuge, my dream, my get away, my destiny, my vacation. I am so in love with you."; the amazing mother of his boys, Diane Nesbitt Smith; his own amazing mother, Annette Pittman and husband, Marc; his dad, Retired District Judge Woody Nesbitt; his adoring sister, Britney Nesbitt Smith; grandmother, Evelyn Rodgers, Uncle Ken Rodgers, Aunt Jeanette Cook and husband, Jackie; Aunt Diane Marsh and husband, Glen; and many other extended family members, in-laws, present and former. To Brian's "other family", too many to name, at Orr Kia Shreveport, whose love, kindness and help during this time have been over the top…the family thanks all of you from the bottom of our hearts. Following a private family service, when Brian's ashes will be donated to a place he loved, the family is hosting a Celebration of Brian's Life for friends of Brian and his family, where great remembrances of Brian will be shared, very casual, from 4:30 until 7:30 p.m. at the Pittman home on Cross Lake, out back where Brian loved to be with his family and kids, at 5252 Norfolk Road, Shreveport, 71107, on Thursday, October 20 (bring your own lawn chair). In lieu of flowers please donate to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the charity of your choice. Brian's family thanks everyone for their kindness and their prayers.
