Terry D. Biddle
Terry D. Biddle KANSAS: Terry D. Biddle, loving husband, father and grandfather lost his battle with cancer and peacefully entered heaven from his home on October 17, 2016 at the age of 67. Terry was born September 20, 1949, in Helena, to the late Jacob A. and Gladys E. (Scott) Biddle. He graduated from Lakota High School in 1969 and joined the Navy where he served on an aircraft carrier during Vietnam. He married Nancy L. (Sleek) in Helena on July 10, 1970 and she survives in Kansas. During the early 1970's Terry began his career as a welder with The Foundry in Fostoria. He then continued his next 38 years with General Dynamics until he retired in 2011. On May 5, 1971 and September 27, 1973 respectively, he welcomed his beloved children Jacob and Jenny to the family. Terry was a devoted father an avid golfer, fisherman and outdoor enthusiast. Terry was a loving Papa who often played and joked with his grandchildren. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially attending car shows with Nancy and getting into "trouble" with identical twin brother Jerry. Terry's positivity, fun loving nature and genuine care were appreciated by everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. He had a unique ability to make us all smile! He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. Other survivors include a son, Jacob D. (Michelle) Biddle of Bettsville, daughter, Jenny L. (Larry) Grischow, of Gahanna, brothers, Lynn Biddle, of Findlay, Herb (Judy) Biddle of Hilton Head, Harold (Sharon) Biddle, of Tiffin, Jerry (Luann) Biddle, of Burgoon, sister-in-law, Kathy Biddle, of Weston, brother-in-laws, Ernie White of Toledo, Bob Smith of Findlay, and seven grandchildren. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Leonard and Larry "Butch", and sisters, Linda, Luetta, and Susie. There will be a Celebration of Terry's life at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Risingsun First Church of God with Rev. Paul Rutledge officiating and military honor's being rendered by the United Veterans Council. Visitation will also be on Saturday, from 11:30 a.m., until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be at Scott Trinity cemetery at a later date. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
