Kempf, Jr., as well as two of her children: daughter Mary Jean Kempf, and son Robert H. Kempf III. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Anthony (Tony) and Elizabeth Fleck and her brother, Walter Fleck. Mary Ann was very fortunate to find love a second time in life, and she married Joseph Koch in October, 2006. They were married for 9 years preceding his death in December 2014. Mary Ann was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and attended Indiana University. She is a member of St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church, and her strong faith in God has been her guiding light throughout her life. She is a member of the Women's Club and the Fillies Club of Louisville. She loved her monthly bridge club as well. But first and foremost, she was a wonderful, loving mother and grandmother to not only her own, but many other family friends who loved her dearly as well. She was a true Louisville "lady" in every sense of the word, blessed with great beauty inside and out. She had the most amazing laugh that will be missed by so many of her family and friends. Her great generosity in life knew no boundaries. All those who were blessed to know her well throughout her life loved her very much. Visitation for Mary Ann will be at Ratterman's Funeral Home in St. Matthews (3711 Lexington Rd., Louisville) on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 3pm-7pm.
