Robert Bradley Dudley BYESVILLE: Robert Bradley Dudley, 83, of Byesville passed away peacefully Sunday (October 16, 2016) at SEORMC. He was born September 13, 1933 in Cumberland and was the son of the late Eugene E. and Margaret (Reeves) Dudley. He was a cement mason for Hiway Paving, and a first class diesel mechanic for Central Ohio Coal Company where he retired in 1995 after 24 years of service. Bob was a member of Derwent United Methodist Church, a graduate of Cumberland High School and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War where he flew into 28 different air bases wordwide. Mr. Dudley was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge where he was a former past master at Columbia Lodge in Cumberland and presently a member of Point Pleasant Lodge in Pleasant City. He was a member of United Mine Workers of America, D.A.V. and enjoyed coon hunting and trapping. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Alice Hennen. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Kay M. (Barnett) Dudley whom he married January 31, 1959; two sons, Bob (Laura) Dudley Jr. and Greg (Tammy) Dudley both of Byesville; one daughter Annette (Bob) Duffy of Wooster; two brothers, Gene (Gail) Dudley of Cambridge and Jim (Linda) Dudley of Chandlersville; three sisters, Bonnie Henderson of Cumberland, Janice (Jerry) Moore of Zanesville and Betty (Don) Miller of Zanesville; six grandchildren, Abigail (Morgan) and Alyse (Jordan), Adam (Lydia) and Aaron Dudley, Seth Duffy and Ashley Hammel; five great grandchildren, Avery, Kaylee, Bo, Ashton and Zane; Jingles the family dog. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville with a Masonic service at 7:30. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Debbie Gheen officiating. Burial will be in Buffalo Cemetery with military services conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
