EATON — Lutresia W. Parker, 80, of Eaton, passed away Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, at her residence. She was born Oct. 2, 1936, in Paris, Kentucky, to the late George and Dorothy (Elam) Vickers. She was a member of the Community Christian Church in West Alexandria. She will always be remembered for her precious smile that lit up a room. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband James A. Parker, who passed away in 2013; and brother Elwood Vickers. She is survived by her daughters Gina Bowers of Franklin, Gianna (William) Peting of Eaton, and Rene Parker of Eaton; grandchildren Buffy Allison, Carrie Duncan, Martin Myers, Amy Townsend, Raymond Townsend, Robin Eck and Lori Page; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016 from 2 p.m. until time of funeral services at 3 p.m. at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, with Pastor Doug Bottles officiating. Burial will be in Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation Southwest Ohio, 6120 South Gilmore Road Suite 206, Cincinnati, OH 45014.
