In memory of
Robert "Bob" Angell
Angell, Robert "Bob" Robert "Bob" Angell passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord on October 14, 2016 at his lake home in Sugar Camp, Wisconsin surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born 7th of 14 children to Forrest and Pearl (Offner) Angell in Ladysmith, WI on March 28, 1941. As a teenager Bob worked on various farms while attending high school, graduating from Appleton High School in 1959. He met the love of his life, Sandra Nigl in Appleton and they were married at St Therese Catholic Church in Appleton. Following graduation, Bob began working at Thilmany Paper Mill in Kaukauna. During his 43 years there he moved into management and earned respect and admiration for his strong work ethic. He was then recruited to finish his career at Rhinelander Paper. He and his wife Sandra moved to the north woods and lived on Chain Lake, which provided many years of enjoyment and loving memories for his family. Bob loved to fish and take family and friends boating, tubing, and on tours of the Sugar Camp chain of lakes. Bob was a soft spoken, kind man who left an everlasting impact on everyone he met. He has continued to grow spiritually throughout his life, most recently growing stronger through his church community at St. Kunegunda and bible study led by his wife Sandra. One final request for his entire family is to seek a relationship with the Lord and grow stronger in their faith. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Sandra (Nigl) Angell as well as four daughters and their families who adored him, Cheryl Angell and her children Joshua (Mary) Drephal, Priscilla Tepolt, Liz (Jesse) Brockman, and Nathan Angell (fiancée Michelle Morgridge); Julie Angell and her children Jenny (Josh) Carriveau, Becca Van Grinsven, Jill Van Grinsven, and Nick Arnold; Linda (Tim) Ahrens and their children Sam and Zach Ahrens; and Amy (Craig) Otis and their children Kasey, Langston, Karsen, and Emerson Otis. Bob is further survived by eight brothers and sisters, Helen (Roy) Zeh, William (Juanita) Angell, Karen Angell, Danny (Nancy) Angell, Lanny (Patty) Angell, Jim Angell, Judy (Roger) Bradley, and Pam (Terry) Zielinski as well as by 12 great-grandchildren, twin great-great grandsons, and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings, Chuck, George, Don, Mary Lou, and Elizabeth. The memorial mass for Bob will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 21, 2016 at St. Kunegunda Catholic Church in Sugar Camp with Father Bala Reddy Allam officiating. Visitation with the family will take place from 9 a.m. until the time of mass on Friday at the church. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family suggests support of a memorial established in Bob's name.
