Donna Marie Miller Pennsville, N.J. Donna Marie Miller (nee Moore), 66, lifelong resident of Pennsville, NJ, went on to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at the Hospital of the Univ. of Penn, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle to cancer. Donna was a 1969 graduate of PMHS, lifetime member of Queen of the Apostles Church where she sang in the choir & was a youth leader for many years, member of the Order of the Eastern Star Penns Grove Chapter 86, social member of the VFW Post 1954, PMHS Band parent, volunteer at Pennsville Animal Shelter, Chairwoman of Pennsville/Salem County Juvenile Conference Committee for 35 years, business owner of M&L Party Place and Tasteful Treats Cafe for many years. Donna was a devoted loving wife & mother who enjoyed keeping busy with all her grandchildren's activities. She enjoyed singing, swimming, traveling & especially her trips to Aruba, the Dominican Republic & Europe with her family. Donna was a fun loving person to be around. She was known for infectious smile & ice blue eyes and always made everyone she met feel like family. Donna knew no stranger. Donna is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Rickey, her children, Darlene Miller Johnson (Amy Crawford), Rickey Jr. (Rhoda), Deanna Chard (Larry), 9 grandchildren, Devon & Paige Johnson (Alex Munoz), Lauren & Spencer Miller, Ashley, Dominique, Morgan & Delaney Chard, Cheyenne Bevis and 2 great-grandchildren, Gauge Hill & Joseph Weaver V, siblings, Elizabeth Widell (Barry), John "Jack" Moore (Sharon), Michael Moore (Peggy), William Moore, Mary Lawrence (Larry) and Carol Russell, and many nieces and nephews. Donna was predeceased by her parents, John N. & Emma (Hussla) Moore, her brother, James Moore, & grandson, Hunter Chard. A viewing will be held at Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville, on Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 7-9pm and Friday from 9-9:30am. Mass of Christian burial will be held at Queen of the Apostles Church, Pennsville, on October 21, 2016 at 10am. Burial will be at Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Pennsville Animal Shelter, 90 N Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070 or The American Cancer Society.
