Roberta "Beebe" (Schroeder) REDDING
REDDING, Roberta H. (Schroeder) "Beebe" 83, Tampa, died peacefully October 11, 2016, just days after her diagnosis, surrounded by the love of family and friends. Born in Cleveland, OH, February 4, 1933, she was the seventh of eight children born to Rev. Rupert and Elfrieda Schroeder. She is predeceased by husband, Bob Redding; siblings, Rev. John Schroeder, Dr. Rupert Schroeder, Walter Schroeder, and stepdaughters, Peggy Redding and Cathey Wilmes. She is survived by siblings, Rev. Robert Schroeder (twin brother), Eleanor Frederking, Dr. Ted Schroeder, Dr. Paul Schroeder; her daughters, Robin Elting (Steve) and Barb Dinda Ulrich (Rich); grandchildren, Drake Elting, Emelia Ulrich and Eli Ulrich; stepchildren, Michael Redding, Ann Kelly (John), Susan Anders (Robert), Terry Redding and Tommy Redding (Amm) and her step grandchildren, Leon Redding, Becky Anders, Nick Anders, Tiffany Kroeze, Wendy Randolph, John Paul Ricardo and David Kelly. Roberta valued education and graduated from The Cleveland Art Institute. Art and children were a great source of joy for her. She followed her passions with a 33-year career as an educator, primarily as Asst. Principal at Mabry and Citrus Park Elementary. She lived her dreams and followed her passions, spending her time creating beautiful art, enjoying time with her friends, her book club, her church family, volunteering as a Stephen Minister, reading, traveling and helping to raise her grandchildren. She believed in one world and embraced diversity, all cultures and nationalities. Each year she immersed herself in a new destination from her bucket list. She lived a life filled with many wonderful experiences throughout the world and at home with loved ones. Roberta was adored, admired and respected throughout her life. She made a positive difference and left this world a much better place. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where her memorial service will be held 3 pm, Saturday, October 22 at 3714 W. Linebaugh Ave, Tampa, 33618.
