Charles Chuck George Joyeusaz
JOYEUSAZ Charles Chuck George Joyeusaz Chuck went to be with the Lord on October 10, 2016 after an extended illness. He was born June 11th, 1933 in Dover Delaware to Napoleon and Adele Joyeusaz. He graduated from Dover High School and proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Navy and the Delaware National Guard. He retired as a Lt. Colonel from the Civil Air Patrol. He also retired from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office after 22 years of service. He was a member of the Union Lodge #7, AF&AM in Dover Delaware, the Jacksonville Morocco Temple, and the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 5-30. Chuck leaves behind a loving family to include his wife, Debbie Ellison Joyeusaz; his children: Charles Simpson (Ceinwen); Melissa Simpson-Martin (Johnny); Charles Joyeusaz; Sandy Lowry (Billie Joe); Michelle Waters (Mark); and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorials be made in Chuck's name to the Jacksonville Shrine Children's Hospital. Honoring Chuck's wishes, there will not be a memorial service but he requested that his ashes be placed at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
