Dwayne R. Lutz
Dwayne R. Lutz, Olyphant, died Thursday afternoon at home after an illness. His wife is the former Nicole Rusyn. Born 1963 in Scranton, he was the son of the late Frank R. and Marilyn Carter Lutz. Before his illness, Dwayne was employed by Schiff's, in his own landscaping business, at Fairview Memorial Park and, finally, by Keystone Memorial Vault Co. Dwayne was an avid fisherman who loved the sport very much. He will be deeply missed. Also surviving are a son, Jeremy Lutz, West Scranton; a daughter, Megan Lutz, at home; brothers, John and Randy Lutz; sisters, Marlene Badyrka and Dawn Larioni; a granddaughter, Isabella Rose Lutz; father-in-law, Nicholas Rusyn; sisters-in-law, Lori Ann Lambert and Luane Patelunes; a brother-in-law, Nicholas Rusyn Jr.; nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Frank and Darren Lutz. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Vanston and James Funeral Home, 1401 Ash St., Scranton, with the Rev. Dennis Gray, officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 3:30 until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial contributions be made to the family.
