CALLAHAN, JEFFREY REID, 67, passed away Wednesday, September 7, after a heroic battle with cancer. Jeff, a loving husband, father, son, uncle, nephew, neighbor and friend, was born in New York City. As a youngster in an Air Force family, Jeff grew up living in many places throughout the United States and Canada. In 1960, his family made their permanent home in South Florida. In 1991, he established his own law practice in Miami and faithfully served his clients and the community for 25 years. Jeff was an avid sports fan and conscientiously followed the Seminole, Hurricane, Marlin and Dolphin teams. He was a caring person, and throughout his life, he was well-known for his many generous acts of kindness and good deeds on behalf of family, friends and people in need.
