DERUSHA, Claire Marie Marchioro Born to Americo and Gertrude Dennehy Marchioro on January 12, 1933 in Walkerville, MT at home. Moved to Spokane, WA on July 4, 1945. Attended Longfellow grade school, John R. Rogers H.S and Spokane Community College. Retired from Washington Trust Bank as an Assistant V.P. and Branch Manager of the Northtown Branch after 27 years. Volunteer work included serving as a CASA/Guardian-ad-Litem for Spokane County Juvenile Court for several years, NAB/Juvenile Court volunteer, SCAN (Spokane Cares) volunteer, and reading mentor at local elementary schools. She was an avid reader especially of history and good fiction. Claire is preceded in death by her husband Herbert, daughters Julie and Janet, sister Phyllis Boynton, brothers James and Thomas Marchioro, and her parents. She is survived by daughters Pamela DeRusha, Catherine Jameson and Carrie Linden; grandchildren Derek, Cassandra, Jessica and Jeremy; great- grandchildren Devan, Jackson, Jaylee, Parker and Janessa; brother and best friend, Robert Marchioro, and sister Debra Marchioro. Claire was loved by her family and will be deeply missed. She is now with God and with those who preceded her in death. It was her wish that no public service be held; private graveside service only.
