In memory of
JACOB SEIDENBERG October 25, 1914 - October 16, 1996 Jake Seidenberg left his mark everywhere he went. He lived a lifetime of integrity, dedicated to his family and his chosen profession of labor arbitration. The physical odds he faced in life from an early age did not deter him from a career involving continual travel around the country - sometimes outside it - hearing arbitration cases, serving on presidential emergency boards at times of impending national strikes, writing, speaking to classes, and counseling those interested in becoming arbitrators. He always considered himself fortunate to have lived during the years he did and witnessing the changes he saw, thinking his mobility limits were an adjustment to make, not an obstacle he couldn't resolve. His objective was not to retire, and he continued working through his last days. He appreciated and enjoyed his neighbors at Lake Barcroft where he lived nearly 40 years, and his many other friends. Knowing his youngest grandson would've overjoyed him. His memory is an ongoing source of pride, love, encouragement, and comfort. John, Ethalyn, Zachary, Tirso, Fely, Totsie, Judith, Diding, Jay, Eds, Clarisse, Ian and Samsam Also Remembered by Longtime Friends Laurel and Tom Larson, Joel Storer and Brian Marquis
