Joyce Dibble Silk of Levittown died on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016 at her home. She was 74. Born in Towanda, Pa., Mrs. Silk has been a resident of Levittown since 1979. She was employed with McCrory's Department store in earlier years where she and her husband originally met while working at the Towanda location. Joyce was an avid reader who also enjoyed crossword puzzles and cooking. Mostly, she loved the times spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Joyce was the beloved wife of the late Donald W. Silk Sr. to whom she was married for 37 years. She is the loving mother of Lynn Silk (Robert), Donald W. "Jay" Silk Jr. (Cortney), Dr. Kami J. Silk, William H. Silk (Colleen) and the late Edward A. Silk; and is the devoted grandmother of Samuel, Francis, Katelyn, Margaret, Gage, Cooper, Allison, Emma and Nathaniel. Joyce is the sister of Donna Hugo (Stan), Shirley Harris (Leo), Audrey Place (the late William), Joe Dibble (Connie), Charles Dibble (Linda), Sharon Brown (Walter) and Margie Yaple (the late Andrew) and will also be missed many nieces and nephews.
