Edna M. Crosbie
Edna M. Crosbie AGE: 86 • Whiting, formerly of Union Beach Edna M. Crosbie, 86, was born in Port Monmouth , NJ and lived and grew up in Hazlet. She then moved to Union Beach where she lived most of her life. After her retirement she moved to Manchester, NJ. Edna is survived by her sister Bernice Crosbie, Hazlet, NJ; two nephews and their spouses, Gerard and Maureen Crosbie, Hazlet, NJ and Wayne and Patricia Crosbie, Connelly Springs, NC; great- nieces, Nicole Crosbie Ross, Mandy Crosbie Goodwin, and Laura Crosbie Ebeid; great- nephew, Gerard Crosbie; five great great-nieces, and a great-nephew, step great niece, Erica Eno and step great- nephews Marc and Christopher Eno. Edna loved her cat Pumpkin, who was her constant companion. Edna was predeceased by her parents, Austin and Ruth Crosbie; brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Patricia Crosbie. Edna worked for her father Austin for many years moving and raising houses. She also worked at Crosbie's Marina in West Keansburg, NJ. Edna and her brother Fred had their own business of boat moving for 20 years. Edna then branched out on her own and started her own ceramic tile business, E.M Crosbie CeramicTile for 30 years. Many called Edna "The Tile Lady". Edna loved to fish, travel, go to musicals, and plays. She participated in the Christmas Tree Show in Whiting, NJ. She also enjoyed flea markets and antiques. Some of her favorite trips were to Pigeon Forge, TN., Dollywood, lighthouse tours and Elvis concerts. Edna was especially proud of her Blackfoot Indian Heritage. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October, 18, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Rd., Middletown. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Middletown.
