PHILIP B. PERKINS
PERKINS 96, of Media, died October 11, 2016, born in Cleveland, Ohio to Raymond and Laura Gilbert Perkins. He served in the U.S. Army and Air Force Intelligence during World War II in the South and Southwest Pacific area, attended Cleveland College and graduated from Temple and Drexel Universities with Bachelors Degrees in English and Library Science. He worked as a Librarian and retired from the Forest Service, U.S. Dept. of Agriculture in 1977. He was a member of the Church of The Good Shepherd in Rosemont, PA. Throughout the years, he was active in the Episcopal Church and the Anglican Catholic Church where he served as a lay reader and in the choir. He loved classic cars and was the owner of 2 classic Rolls-Royces . He was a previous member of the Rolls-Royce Owners' Club and the Classic Car Club of America.
