Smith, Claretta Orline 1/21/1935 - 10/11/2016 Holton Mrs. Claretta Orline "PeeWee" Smith, age 81, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on January 21, 1935 to Clarence & Louise (Woods) Thorenfelth and married James E. Smith on September 20, 1952. Mrs. Smith had been employed as a cashier for Eberhards and J.C. Penney Grocery Store, was the former owner of Oak Knoll Campground and was a former Blue Lake Township Trustee. Claretta loved her family and enjoyed visiting casinos and playing Texas Hold'em. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Sons, James (Lori) Smith of Muskegon, Karl Smith of Holton, Ron (Deb) Smith of Battle Creek, Sam (Denise) Smith of Hawaii; daughters, Colleen (Mike) Macheta of Goose Neck Lake, Karen (Ron) Blamer of Harrietta, Toni (Roger) Martin of Holton; 21 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James and siblings. SERVICE Saturday, October 22, 2016, 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev.
