Wesolowski, Eleanor J. 3/5/1929 - 10/13/2016 Bay City, Michigan Eleanor J. Wesolowski, age 87, died Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the Bay Medical Care Facility where she resided for the past three years. She was born March 5, 1929 to the Late Walter and Julia (Glysz) Grochowski. On October 11, 1947 she married Adrian Wesolowski who predeceased her on May 17, 1982. She was a lifelong member of St. Hyacinth Parish, its Rosary and Altar Society and the League of Catholic Women and Men. For many years she managed the Evenknit Store and also worked at Sam's Department Store. Surviving are sons, David (Mary) Wesolowski, Daniel (Kathy) Wesolowski and one daughter-in-law, Sandy Grochowski; grandchildren, Jeff (Amy Grochowski), Jill Quinlan, Jennifer Hodder, Carrie and Craig Wesolowski, Derek (Barb) Wesolowski, Brandon Wesolowski, Courtney (Dave) Gwizdala, Mark (Julie) Woods, Kim (Rod) Weissmiller, Tammy Strong, Robin (Bill) Wojcik, Bonnie Duso, Debbie (Tom) Everitt; great-grandchildren, Casey Grochowski, Claire and Matthew Quinlan, Carson, Lauren, Joshua, Nathan and Nicole Tacey, Daniel, Isabella, Madalynn and Alaina Wesolowski, Taylor, Carter and Caleb Gwizdala, and Ashley and Shawn Everitt. She is also survived by her in-laws, Jean, Geraldine, James and Audrey Wesolowski and Henrietta Petoskey. She was predeceased by a son, Robert Grochowski; a sister, Romaine (Ted) Jezowski; a brother, Walter (Wanda Berger) Grochowski; sister/daughter, Barbara (Ron) Dinsmore; and in-laws, Marion Wesolowski, Ralph Wesolowski, Berta Burzynski, and Rita Luczak Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday October 17, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish St. Hyacinth Church 1515 Cass Ave., Bay City. Fr. Dale Orlik will preside with burial in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ambrose Chapel on Sunday from 2:00 8:00 p.m. and at the church Monday after 9:00 a.m. Members of St. Hyacinth's Rosary Altar Society will pray the Rosary at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, followed by a Parish Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy, are asked to consider donations to the American Heart Association. The family wishes to acknowledge the Bay Medical Care Facility Staff of One East for their excellent care of Eleanor.
