Claude A. Lussier
Claude A. Lussier, 74, of Farmington, husband of Nancy (Benjamin) Lussier passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Born in Hartford, son of the late Henry and Jeanne (Mercier) Lussier, Claude was a graduate of Hartford Public High School and the University of Connecticut. He was a long-time resident of Newington and moved to Farmington in 2004. In 1979, he founded Connecticut Clean Room Corporation in Bristol. A generous and considerate employer, he successfully transitioned his company to long time key employees in 2015. A dedicated family man, he was a gentle and loving husband and father. He was a devoted Poppy to his beloved grandsons. He was a faithful student of the religious teachings of the Saint Germain Foundation. Besides his wife of 51 years, Nancy, he leaves two daughters, Christine Lussier and her husband Robert Hamill of Philadelphia; and Michelle Goldfarb and her husband Dan of West Hartford; two grandsons, Evan and Bryce Goldfarb; as well as a brother, Marcel Lussier and his wife Pamela of Naples, Florida; and three sisters, Germaine Bakas and her husband John of Glastonbury; Janet Henneberry of Torrington; and Diane Maratta and her husband Carl of Newington; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Claude was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Paul Henneberry. Services will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Germain Foundation, 763 Oak Street, East Hartford, CT 06118. The Carlson Funeral Home, New Britain, is assisting with arrangements.
