In memory of
Jean Stewart Holler BLYTHEWOOD - On October 12, 2016, a beautiful autumn morning, Jean Holler's spirit left this world, carried away by a majestic Great Blue heron that visited her pond often. Those of us, who have seen the heron, on many occasions, in many places, know this heron represented Dave, her loving husband of 31 years. She is now freed from her earthly body that has for too long left her only a shell of the Jean, Momma, grandmother, aunt and friend we all remember. She will be missed greatly but there is a sense of joy that she has reunited with her friends and family in Heaven. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 90 Boney Road, Blythewood, SC 29016. The family will received friends following the service. Dunbar Funeral Home Northeast Chapel is assisting the family. She had a life of service, of travel and laughter and loved her family and piece of Heaven on Earth at home in Blythewood. She accomplished much in her workings to be a nurse, an educator and support for her family, but most of all she loved people. With a joke or a story she could always light up a room. She loved life, her pets and friends but how she loved her family. She will be missed. She was last seen flying away with Dave. She is survived by her three sons; Stewart Holler, Edwin Holler and his wife Sue, David Holler and his wife Josie; six grandchildren; Sarah Wajda and her husband Dylan, William Holler, Rebecca Holler, Stewart Holler, Greyson Holler and Owings Holler and great grandson, Jonathan Adlai Wajda. Jean was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Sue Stewart; by her sister Nan Stewart Crook; her loving husband Dave; daughter-in-law Linda Holler. Later in life she met and married the late, Lee Rogers whom they had many wonderful trips and adventures together and enjoyed their time spent in Florida and the mountains of North Carolina. Donations in her memory may be made to your local animal shelter or to a charity of your choice. Please sign the online guest book at www.dunbarfunerals.com .
