August 4, 1923 - October 13, 2016. Preceded in death by loving wife, Marie (Zwicky); daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Randall Hague; grandson, Dennis Liberko; parents, Joseph and Rose (Herek); brother James and sisters, Ruth Going and Virginia Fratto. Survived by children, Carol (Rodney) McGinnis, David (Jill), Joan (Mark) Juelich, Peter (Molly), Matthew (Olga), Anthony (Stephanie), Therese (Rick) Alverson, William (Paula), Elizabeth (Reid) Wronski, Charles (Coralie); 37 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren; sisters, Olive Moore and Joan George, numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and childhood friends. Served in WWII with the USMC, 41 year employee of Graybar Electric. Dad was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle who never had an unkind word for anyone. The only thing he ever asked when he saw you, even during his final days, was to give him a smile. Rest in Peace to a truly remarkable person. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10 AM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 2048 N. Hamline Ave. Visitation Sunday 4-7 PM at the Roseville Memorial Chapel, 2245 N. Hamline Ave. and one hour prior at the church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. 651-631-2727
