He worked in many locations across the United States as a field engineer for Western Electric for 40 years before retiring, with Bell Labs in Whippany, NJ as his last location. He was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Rockaway, New Jersey until recent years when his health declined. After his retirement, he volunteered at St. Clare's for many years, and with Helen, delivered meals for Meals on Wheels. His long and active life can be at least in part attributed to Dr. Feigin of Denville, NJ, who befriended and helped him cope with a number of chronic conditions.
