Beatrice Garcia (Bea) Perry
Beatrice (Bea) Garcia Perry Beatrice (Bea) Garcia Perry went to be with our Heavenly Father on September 13, 2016 at the age of 90. Bea was born on October 16, 1925 in the town of Lahaina, on the island of Maui, Hawaii. She married William "Russell" Perry in 1979. She devoted 32 years of her life to the community by serving as a volunteer with the Leon County Sheriff's Departments Reserve Unit, aka, the CB Posse. She was very dedicated to serving her community and did so very passionately. She was a member New Life Baptist Church, formerly known as Haywood Cates Baptist Church. She loved her big Ohana (family) dearly. Beatrice is preceded in death by her husband, William "Russell" Perry; father, Montano Garcia; mother, Cornelia Apordo; stepmother, Rosa Garcia; son, Bryant Ackerman Keola; and grandsons, Roy Lee Keola and Lyle Jackson Clanton. She is survived by her children, Gregory Alo, Ronald Pohai Keola (Smokey), Gwendolyn Leimomi Keola Koyl, Henry Rhinehart Keola; Brenda J. Young Clanton; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. A "Celebration of Life" in remembrance of Bea will be held at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home located at 1737 Riggins Road, Tallahassee, FL, 32308, on Sunday, October 16, 2016. Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow from 3:00-4:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bea's life.
