Philip James Timmins Jr. Longtime AT&T staffer Philip James Timmins Jr., 83, passed away on Oct. 9, 2016, at Morris View Nursing Home in Morris Plains, N.J. He was born in Summit, N.J., and lived in Madison, N.J. At the time of his marriage in 1972, he moved to Morristown, N.J., where he resided for over 30 years. Philip graduated from Madison High School and worked for AT&T in Morristown, N.J., for over 30 years. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Morris Plains. Philip is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Timmins, and his devoted daughters, Kimberly Rossman, and her husband, David of Morristown; and Katie Ehm and her husband, Charles of Fredericksburg, Va. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Abigail, Brenna, Cailyn, and Hadley. He was predeceased by his parents, Philip James Timmins Sr. and Augusta Fredericka Bergman, as well as a sister, Barbara Homic. A private memorial service will be held on Friday with family members and close friends.
