Joseph Wahl
Joseph Wahl, Scranton, died Monday morning at home. He is survived by his wife, the former Arline Herman. Born in Scranton, son of the late Frank and Mary Polk Wahl, he was a graduate of North Scranton Junior High and Technical High School. He served with the Navy during World War II. Before retirement, he was employed as a fireman for the city of Scranton and was a member of the Polish Club. Surviving are a son, Joseph Wahl and wife, Lisa, Scott Twp.; four grandsons, Ryan and Ross Martin, and Joseph and Jordan Wahl; a great-grandson, Colin Martin; brothers, John Wahl and wife, Angela, Scranton; and William Wahl and wife, Elaine, Meriden, Conn.; a sister, Elaine Davis and husband, Leonard, Scranton; nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Martin; brothers, Frank and Robert Wahl; and a sister, Eleanor Iona.
