COMET STEVEN ARTHUR COMET age 72, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on Sunday evening, May 22nd after a seven year struggle with Parkinson's Disease. For 40 years he ran a family business, Die-Cut Products, which was started by his father and is now run by his son. A car and firearm enthusiast, a movie and music buff with a taste for vintage collectibles, and an avid hiker who loved the desert southwest. Steve was quick with a joke and had a passion for life that will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his beloved wife Arlene and his 3 sons and their wives, Michael (Marci), Ari (Beth) and Noah (Noelle); as well as by his 2 grandchildren, Norah and Nolan, who call him Papa. He is also survived by 2 siblings, Aviva (Bob) and Jordan (Gila) and by a large extended family. He was predeceased in death by his parents, Israel and Naomi and by 1 sister Tovi, whose husband David has remained a dear member of the family. Funeral services will be held at the BERKOWITZ-KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1985 S. TAYLOR RD., CLEVELAND HEIGHTS Wednesday, May 25 at 12 P.M. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at 2157 Lyndway Rd., Beachwood WEDNESDAY FOLLOWING SERVICES UNTIL 8:30 P. M., THURSDAY FROM 2 - 4 P. M. AND 7 - 9 P. M., AND FRIDAY FROM 2 - 4 P. M. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Be In Motion ( www.beinmotion.org ), the Michael J. Fox Foundation or Temple Israel Ner Tamid.
