Mary Beth White Sterling
Jesus has welcomed Mary Beth Sterling into her new home in Heaven. Her final days were spent surrounded by family at Hillcrest Hospital in Waco where she passed away peacefully Oct. 3, 2012, after a brief illness. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, Oct. 6, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Bremond Funeral Home in Bremond. Funeral service is set for Sunday, Oct. 7, at 2 p.m.at First Baptist Church in Bremond with interment to follow at Heard's Prairie Cemetery, east of Bremond. Mary Beth was one of 17 children born to Mack and Mary Eula McKinney. She was the beloved wife of Herman Lee White for over 48 years. A few years after his death, she married John Sterling who was a childhood friend. Mary Beth was preceded in death by her parents; her first and second husbands; and all of her brothers and sisters. She will forever be remembered by her devoted children, Marietta Lawson and husband, Homer, ofAxtell, Sue Yezak and husband, Leon Jr., of Marlin, Jan Hughes of Easterly, Rodger White and wife, Paula, of Bremond; Jay White and wife, Barbara, of Bremond, and Farah Robinson and husband, Bo, of LaVernia, Texas; 21 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren (with three more coming soon); along with countless other friends and family who were blessed to know her.
