CAPTAIN Childs was born on February 25, 1920 and passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018. CAPTAIN Childs was a resident of Keene, New Hampshire at the time of passing. After World War II, he graduated from Wayne State University's engineering school and took a job with Olin Industries in New Haven, Connecticut where he met his wife, Isabel Riley Childs. He continued his career as an active squadron commander and retired from the Navy as a Captain. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Legion Post 15 and/or the West Dover Congregational Church c/o Covey Allen & Shea Funeral Home P.O. Box 215 Wilmington, VT 05363.
