Carolyn Elaine Daye
Carolyn Elaine Daye, age 69, of Monroe, died Thursday, May 26, 2011 at the Atrium Medical Center. She was born November 25, 1941 in Ezel, Kentucky, the daughter of Homer C. Davis and Sue (Parks) Davis. Carolyn worked as the bookkeeper for BobCat Enterprises, Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the Treasurer for Miami Valley Triumphs. Carolyn is survived by her husband Philip Daye; one daughter, Cheyenne Daye; two grandsons, James Dowell and Christopher Peck; one great grandson, Lukas Dowell; one great granddaughter, Libby Dowell; and two brothers, David P. (wife, Charlotte) Davis of Cincinnati, and Philip (wife, Dee) Davis of Florida. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Melissa Daye and Denise Daye. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery, Gratis. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 4555 Lake Forest Drive, Suite 396, Cincinnati, OH 45242.
