In memory of
Thomas E. Tyna, 83, of Bay Village passed away peacefully at O'Neill Healthcare in Bay on December 30, 2018. He was born in Cleveland, to Leo and Margaret Tyna on April 25, 1935. Tom served his country in the United States Army and while on leave in Holland met his beautiful bride Beatrix. After starting their family in Cleveland's West Park neighborhood, Tom and Trix eventually made their home in Bay Village where they lived for the past 30 years.
Tom was a long time fan of all Cleveland sports teams but especially fond of his Cleveland Browns. Through the years he enjoyed working in his yard, fishing, bowling and his time at the American Legion Post of Avon Lake. Tom also enjoyed the simple things in life such as a nice cat on his lap and a cold Bud Light in his hand.
Tom leaves his wife Beatrix and his two daughters, Monique Wohl (Allen) and Claudine Tennyson (Jim). Two granddaughters, Chantelle and Anjelika and a very sad cat, Elektra. He was predeceased by his parents and all three of his brothers, Leo, John and Oliver Tyna.
Friends may call for a memorial visitation at the Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon Belden Rd., Avon Lake, on Sunday, January 6, from 1:00-4:00 pm. A private burial service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
