In memory of
John M. Gallovich, 93 of Avon Lake formerly of Lorain passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, December 26, 2018. He was born to parents John M. and Helen (nee Kosash) Gallovich on September 9, 1925.
John was a proud Navy veteran that served during World War II in the Pacific. He was a member of St. Joseph's church in Avon Lake. He enjoyed gardening, cars and fishing.
He is survived by his loving children Nancy (Louis) Forconi, Judy (Paul) Stroud, John Gallovich and Mary Gallovich; cherished grandchildren Renee (Kevin) Schneblin, Michelle Berg, Lindsay (Aaron) Carrico and Alexander Forconi (Bethanie Yoder); and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Eleanor of 55 years who passed in 2009; son Michael; daughter Susan Lundberg; his brother William and sister Irene.
