Paul Allen Ruck, April 30, 1927 - December 12, 2018. Born at Deaconess Hospital to Jessie (nee Douglas) and Harry Ruck. Graduate of J.F. Rhodes High School, class of 1945. Served honorably in the U.S. Army Air Corps 1945 -1946. Union president of District 50 during his employment at Strong, Cobb and Arner Pharmaceuticals from 1949 to 1973. Worked at Fusion, Inc. from 1973 to 1989. Active in church choirs at Ridge Road United Church of Christ and Parma-South Presbyterian Church as well as the Parma Mothersingers and Fathersingers for many years. Member of The Cleveland Hiking Club. Predeceased by his sister, Jane Ellen Ruck, first wife Anna Hayes Ruck, and daughter, Beth Ruck Staffilino. Survived by wife Jean, son Alan of Los Angeles (wife Mireille), grandchildren Joel Staffilino of Chicago (wife Sarah), Emma, Samuel, Vesper and Larkin Ruck, and great-grandchildren Ari, Oliver, Sophia and David Staffilino. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity. Burial will be private. A memorial service will be held at Westlake United Methodist Church, 27650 Center Ridge Road, Westlake, on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11:00 A.M.
