Frankie Lee Barber-Weatherspoon 76, of Merrillville, IN. Former resident of Gary, IN and Greenwood, MS. Frankie passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Methodist Southlake Hospital. Graduate of Roosevelt High School Class of 1959. Retiree of Youngstown Steel Corp. Preceded in death by husbands, Emmitt Barge and Sherman Weatherspoon, parents, Frank and Evelyn Barber, brothers: Willie B, Albert OZ, Samuel Rozzell, James Leonard, and sister Tammy D. Barber. She leaves to treasure her loving memories one daughter Staci Regenia Barge-Blakemore, sisters Mildred L. McClinon, Helen (Charles) Davis, Dirrol Ann Barber, Vera A. Blount, and Rochelle Barber-Davis, brothers:, Frank (Judy), Curtis L. ,Tony C. Barber and Johnny (Etta) Barber, grandsons: Newell (D'Amber) III and Myles J. Blakemore, great-granddaughter: Nova Ann Blakemore , special nephews Herbert Benton (Flip), Troy (Carol) and Charles (Cassie) Davis Jr, and Eric Barber, special cousins George (Emma) Bacon, sister-in-law Pearl (William) James and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation Friday, July 13, 2018 at 9-10A.M. with Family hour at 10:00A.M. and Homegoing Service at 11:00A.M. all services at St. John Baptist Church, 2457 Massachusetts St. Rev. R.E. Robinson officiating. Entombment Evergreen Memorial Park.
