Wallace Funeral services for Frank S. Wallace, 89, who passed away on May 10, 2019, will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206, with Rev. Shane Foss officiating. Entombment will follow in Evergreen's Garden Cloister Mausoleum. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service. Mr. Wallace was born in Cherokee County, Alabama and was a longtime resident of Jacksonville, Florida. He had retired from Bell South with 38 years of service. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Heckscher Drive Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, the late Betty Jo Wallace. Survivors include 2 sons, Michael D. Wallace (Cheryl), and Mitchell K. Wallace (Betsy); 4 grandsons, Ryan, Travis, Matthew, and Adam Wallace; 2 great-grandchildren, Ava, and Jack Wallace.
