Francis J. Coady, 83, of Rockland, passed away surrounded by his family on August 16, 2018. Born in Boston on July 24, 1935, he was the son of the late Patrick and Delia (Kenny) Coady. He loved reading history, enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He treasured family trips to Ireland, Switzerland, Pawleys Island, S.C., and Little Squam Lake, N.H. Frank is survived by his devoted wife Sandra (Fitzsimmons) of 57 years. He was the loving father of Michael Coady and wife Claudia of Los Gatos, Calif., Stephen Coady and his partner James Hahn of Quincy and the late David Coady. Cherished grandfather of Rebecca and Alex Coady. Beloved brother of Ann Ward of Tampa, Fla. and the late James P. Coady; brother-in-law of Roy Fitzsimmons and his wife Judith, and family, of Cohasset, Ma and Joann Titcomb and her husband William of Daytona Beach, Fla. He is also survived by several beloved nieces and nephews. Donations in Frank's memory may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
