Frances Mendez Ramirez - - In loving memory: Frances Mendez Ramirez Oct. 28,1943 - Aug.16, 2018 Frances died peacefully surrounded by love and her family Thursday, Aug 16 at the age of 74. Born in Mexicali, Mexico, She grew up in Indio, CA and was a graduate of Coachella Valley High School. Frances dedicated herself to her family, devoted time to her community as one of the Founders of P.A.L's Berryessa Cougars Youth Football League and faithfully committed to a career of 25 years with the Sunnyvale, California Letters Carriers Union for U.S Government Postal Service. Frances is survived by her husband of 50 years Raymond R. Ramirez, her children Donna Ramirez, Theresa Ramirez, Irene Ramirez, Ray Ramirez; Grandchildren Richard Vargas, Isaak Ramirez, Emma Ramirez, Olivia Ramirez; Great Grandchild Jacob Vargas. She also leaves her sisters Alice Archuleta, Maggie Mendez, Rachel Mendez and brother Rudy Mendez. Frances Mendez Ramirez was loved by many, touched many with her kindness, generosity and motherly compassion. Visitations will be held Tuesday, Aug 28 at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave. San Jose, CA. 95125 in the Chapel of Roses 12 noon, Services 2 pm and Burial 3 pm.
