Evangeline "Tiny" Heinrich
Evangeline 'Tiny' Heinrich PALMER TOWNSHIP Evangeline "Tiny" Heinrich, 81, of Palmer Twp., PA, passed away on July 19, 2019, at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem, PA. Born on April 16, 1938, in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Edwin B. and Margaret Mills Ricker. She was raised by her grandparents, the late David and Anna Snyder. She grew up in Broadway, NJ, later living in Washington, NJ, for 35 years before moving to Palmer Twp. in 1999. She was a 1956 graduate of Washington High School. Tiny was a homemaker for most of her life and previously a teller and bookkeeper at the former Washington Trust Company and the First National State Bank in Washington, NJ. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, William Poyer and her sister, Joan Kinney. She and her husband were woodcrafters using the name Woodland Whatknots. Tiny was a 65-year member of Broadway United Methodist Church in Broadway, NJ. She was also a member of the Warren and Sussex County Historical Societies. She and her husband, Frederick C. Heinrich were married for 61 years on June 21. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Jill Floyd and her husband, Mark of Bath, PA; her grandchildren, Anna, Danny and Heidi. Additionally, she is survived by her sisters, Nancy Smith and Maryann Poyer of Phillipsburg, NJ, Janet Towell of Palmer Twp., Sharon Fiske of Endsburg Falls, VT, Doris Pickell of Pittsburgh, PA, and a brother, David Poyer of Phillipsburg, NJ. A calling hour will be held Tuesday, July 23 from 10 to 11 a.m. at The Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Hwy., Palmer Twp., followed by a service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Evangeline to the Warren County Historical Society and Museum, 313 Mansfield St., Belvidere, NJ 07823.
