ETHELYN DEAN PACATTE Ethelyn Dean Pacatte, 86, of Boulder City, passed away May 24, 2019, in Boulder City. She was born January 29, 1933, in Vandalia, IL to William Boaz and Ethel Lindhorst Boaz. She married September 10, 1949 to Carl Pacatte in Vandalia, IL. Carl preceded her in death in 2009. Dean was an attentive mother and grandmother and often spoiled her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with gifts. She loved to shop, was a collector of many different things and loved antiques. In her later years, many knew her simply as "Granny." She loved all kinds of people and enriched the lives of all those lucky enough to know her. Dean is survived by her two children, Braxton (Denise) Pacatte and Deborah Cripe; brother, Wilson Ray Boaz; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Celebration of life will be at 11:20 a.m. Friday, July 5, at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr., Boulder City, NV 89005.
