VanWormer, Ethel I. NEW BALTIMORE Ethel I. Williams VanWormer, 91, entered eternal life Monday, October 8, 2007 at her residence. Ethel was born and lived all her life in New Baltimore. She was the daughter of the late Luke and Grace Houghton Williams. Ethel enjoyed reading, watching birds and watching the boats on the river. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Ethel was predeceased by her husband, Raymond. Survivors include her sons, Ronald (Donna) VanWormer, Dennis Van-Wormer, Gary (Elaina) Van-Wormer and Raymond VanWormer Jr.; brother, Francis (Daryl) Williams; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Ethel was predeceased by her sister, Marian Seeberger and brothers, David and Herb Williams. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, October 11 at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena. Burial will follow in Chestnut Lawn Cemetery, New Baltimore. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Contributions in memory of Ethel may be made to New Baltimore First Responders, Ravena Rescue Squad, Community Hospice of Albany or Community Hospice of Columbia/Greene.
