RAVENA Elizabeth Zolner, 87, died Saturday, September 6, 2003 at the Good Samaritan Lutheran Health Care Center in Delmar. Betty was born in N.J. and had lived most of her life in Ravena. She retired in 1971 after many years as a teacher in Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk School system. She was a member of the Congregational Christian Church, Ravena and active in many of the church organizations. Survivors include her brothers, John Zolner of Ravena and Samuel Zolner of N.J and several nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, Semen and Anna Zolner and brother, Harry Zolner. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, September 10 at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena. Burial will be in Chestnut Lawn Cemetery, New Baltimore. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday preceding the service starting at 11 a.m. Contributions in memory of Elizabeth may be made to the Congregational Christian Church, 175 Main St., Ravena, NY 12143.
