Elizabeth "Kitchi" Lutz
Elizabeth "Kitchi" Lutz, 78, of Zion Grove passed away early Tuesday morning at the Pavilion at St. Luke Village, Hazleton, following a brief illness. Born in Bloomsburg on Dec. 9, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (Andruzzi) Thomashefsky and lived most of her life in Nuremberg. Elizabeth was employed at Walmart, Hazle Twp., where she worked in the deli and seafood departments. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Nuremberg. Elizabeth was a hard worker who enjoyed her job and the people she worked with. She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, Roland E. Lutz Jr., on Aug. 27, 2013; a brother, Edward Thomashefsky; and a sister, Violet Mummey. Surviving are two sons, Joseph Circelli and his wife, Donna, Fort Myers, Fla.; and Michael Circelli and his fiancée, Amy LaChette; two sisters, Margaret Keen and Mary Ann Fisher and her husband, Larry, all of Fern Glen; and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral was held privately Friday morning from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen. The Rev. Debra Hebden officiated the service at the funeral home and also offered the final prayers of committal in Nuremberg Cemetery. Pallbearers were Edward Thomashefsky and Larry Fisher Jr., nephews of the deceased; Mitch Mowery, Brian Kacyon, Jamie Damon and Travis Fisher, great-nephews.
