Himes, Earnestine "Steen" A resident of Donaldsonville and a native of Shreveport, she died on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 11:00 AM at The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge. She was retired from the Department of Labor with over 20 years of service. She was 66. Visiting at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church, 206 West 10th Street, Donaldsonville at 11:00 AM until religious services at 1:00 PM, conducted by Rev. Carnell Joseph, Pastor. Interment in church cemetery. Survived by 4 sons; Gene (Cecile), Kelvn, Ken, and Reggie (Shontell) Himes, a brother; Grady Lewis, grandchildren; Kentrell, Lance, Gene, Gina, Tevin, and Mogale Himes. Preceded in death by her father; Alzonso Pettie, mother; Willie Mae Himes, and a brother; Willie Ray Pettie. Arrangements entrusted to Demby & Son Funeral Home, Donaldsonville.
