Duane E. Ulrich June 15, 1925 - Jan. 1, 2020 Duane Ulrich passed away quietly after complications from surgery Jan. 1, 2020, she was 94 years old. Duane was born to Henry and Pearl June 15, 1925 and grew up on the family farm in Happy Valley with brothers Delmer, Ken and Roger. In 1946 she married the love of her life, Eldon Ulrich. Duane and Eldon raised their three sons, Craig, Ronald and Bradley in the home they built in Lake Oswego. Duane was dedicated to family and to work. She was one of the co-founders of Neptune Swimming Pool Co. established in 1959. She retired in 2005, but worked part-time at Neptune until she was 92. Duane is survived by sons, Ronald and Bradley; brother, Roger; daughter-in-law, Sherry; and beloved granddaughter, Tina. Duane was a long standing member of Portland First Church of the Nazarene where she attended regularly and enjoyed activities and outings with many friends. At age 94 she was vibrant, active and always looked beautiful. She was the best wife, mom, grama and friend any one could have. She will be loved and missed dearly for the rest of our days. A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 19, 2020, at Portland First Church of the Nazarene, 6100 S.W. Raab Rd., Portland.
