Dorothy D. "Dottie" Denney
Dorothy "Dottie" D. Denney, 88, of Belton, Tex. passed away peacefully in her sleep following a long illness at Park Place Manor on Nov. 8, 2016. She is survived by her three daughters: Beverly (Richard) Kermode of Temple, Tex., Carol (Marshall) Hinson of Orlando, Fla., JoAnne (David) Turner of Franklin, Va.; four grandchildren Jackie (Charles) Kallina of Belton, Tex., Ross (Allison) Hinson of Horn Lake, Miss., Joshua Turner of Franklin, Va., Denney Turner of Richmond, Va. and three great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Charlie, Charlotte Kallina of Belton, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Charlotte Derrickson; sister Mildred; brother Junior and her husband William "Bill" Denney. She was a member of Anona UMC in Largo, Fla. and an associate member Avenue UMC in Milford. A longtime resident of Milford, she relocated to Belton, Tax. in 2013 from Seminole, Fla. Over a long life filled with loving family, wonderful friends and rich experiences she touched countless people and created very warm memories. Her loving and generous spirit will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. She was an amazing mother and matriarch of her family. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at a later date in Milford.
