Dorothea A. Zanetti
Dorothea, "Dot" A. Zanetti, 86, faithful wife and loving mother, died peacefully on Saturday, February 2 at Life Care Center at Wilbraham. She obtained her teaching degree from the Elms College, a nursing degree from American International College, and a master of botany degree from the University of Massachusetts. Dot also had served on the Massachusetts Board of Education. Dot was a devout catholic and a parishioner of both St. Cecilia’s Church in Wilbraham and Christ the King Church in Ludlow. She was a teacher at the former Cathedral High School for many years. Through the years she continued friendships with many of her students. Besides her husband, she will be forever missed by their four children, Mary Klicka (Michael) of East Longmeadow, Ann Zanetti of Coral Gables, FL, Dottie Sidlo of Wyoming and Regina Zanetti (Richard Greene) of Eliot, ME along with 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Max Jr and Bill Anetzberger. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dot’s memorial Mass on Saturday, February 9th at 10:00 am at Christ the King Church in Ludlow (41 Warsaw St.). Please meet directly at the church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations honoring Dot may be made to Massachusetts Citizens for Life, 529 Main St., Boston, MA 02129.
