Doris J. Worob BURLINGTON Doris J. Worob, 97, of Burlington, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at the Masonic Village, Burlington. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she was a longtime Trenton resident until moving to the Masonic Village. Primarily a homemaker, Doris worked as a sales associate at Nevius Voorhees Department Store, Trenton, in the late 1960's and 70's. She was a devoted member, deacon, elder, Bible school and Sunday school teacher at the former Pilgrim Presbyterian Church, Hamilton, and a member of United Presbyterian Church, Yardville. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Women, was a former Bluebird and Campfire Girls leader and volunteered to lead many Bible study groups at the Masonic Village. The daughter of the late Robert and Edna Matthias Waterman and wife of the late Carl Worob, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and John Wagner; her son, Richard Worob and partner, Patricia Keck and family; her grandchildren, Alisa Padden (Jace) and David Wagner, and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services are private. A memorial service at the Masonic Village will be held at a future date.
