Sloma, Donald Donald Leon Sloma went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 10, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Eva, brother Joseph, and sister Carol. He is survived by: his sister Maryann (Richard) Campbell; brother-in-law Jon Lynch; other beloved family members, Jon (Tina) Lynch and Caryn (Brian) Snyder; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. Donald was a decorated United States Army veteran who was awarded the Purple Heart. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 19 at 1 PM at Arsulowicz Brothers East Mortuary, 937 Michigan St NE. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Grand Rapids Home for Veterans.
