Dennis Edward "Dee" Lambert
Dennis "Dee" Edward Lambert, 60, of Richmond VA, passed away suddenly September 1, 2018. He leaves behind his broken hearted wife of 26 years, Karin; beloved daughter, Eva, 22; as well as cousins, Jackie Lambert of Woodstock, VA, Paul Fravel of Strasburg, VA and Richard Gorham of Comfort, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Auburn Lee Lambert Sr. and Helen Fravel Lambert; and his brother, Auburn Lee Lambert Jr. Dennis was born and raised in Woodstock, VA. After graduating from Central High School in 1976, he left to play football for the University of Richmond. He remained in Richmond for the majority of his life, working in the contract furniture industry, which took him to jobs in Florida, Chicago and Houston. Most recently he worked at The Supply Room Company. Through his wife, he learned to love all things Norwegian, and will be missed by his extended family in Norway. He will be remembered for his love of life, music (especially The Grateful Dead), cooking, golf and good friends. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2018 at St. John's United Church of Christ, 1466 Harrisville Road, Toms Brook, VA 22660. A reception will follow the service.
