Daryl Jay Morgan CAMBRIDGE: Daryl Jay Morgan, 70, of Cambridge, passed away Friday October 18, 2013 at his residence. Daryl was born June 6, 1943 in New Lexington, the son of the late Dwight C. and Mary E. Morgan. He was an avid golfer, Buckeyes fan and Red Sox fan and he served his country in the US Navy where he received the National Defense Metal. Daryl is survived by his wife Jane Morgan whom he married November 21, 1964; his children Sarah (Randy) Cook of Cambridge, Eric A. Morgan of Miamisburg, OH; his two granddaughters Samantha Cook and Stephanie Morgan; his brothers James Donald (Karen) Morgan and his sisters Barbara Grewell, Carol Whissel, Frances (Sam) Jurkovich and Norma Kemper. In addition to his parents, Daryl is preceded in death by his son Daryl J. Morgan Jr; his brothers Charles "Bill" W. Morgan, Dwight C. Morgan Jr, Larry Morgan and sister Shirley Morgan. In keeping with Daryl's wishes his body will be cremated and no services observed. The Farus Funeral Home of New Concord is assisting the Morgan Family. www.farusfh.com
