Daniel James Roggemann
Daniel James Roggemann, We mourn the passing of Daniel James Roggemann who died peacefully at his home in Sun City West, AZ, on July 16, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Linda, six children, twenty grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. Dan lived a rich and full 81 years from farm boy in Mishawaka, IN to the Marine Corps to CEO of a finance company. He loved fishing and hiking, but his true passion was golf. Dan was a man of quiet strength and integrity who lived life his way. He was a boisterous storyteller and never failed to garner a hearty round of laughter. Dan was a loyal friend to whom people naturally gravitated, and he had a life-long fellowship with his four best friends from high school. Dan will live on in his stories, adventures, and in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, he would be pleased for you to share in his love of nature by making a donation in memoriam to the Yosemite Conservancy. A private family service was held on July 17, 2018 at the Desert Palms Presbyterian Church. In accordance with Dan's wishes, his ashes will be scattered in Cape Cod, MA this fall.
